This Privacy Policy describes the types of personal information AutoHook LLC (“AutoHook”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects through online channels including the online “pop-up” offers we publish containing a link to this Privacy Policy ( “Pop-ups”), how that information is used and the types of third parties with whom we share it.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to information disclosed by you through offline correspondence or personal contacts with our representatives, or through any other website provided by us that is governed by separate terms of use and privacy policy. Additionally, Pop-ups may contain links to websites that are not controlled or operated by us. This Privacy Policy does not apply to these third party websites. We encourage you to request and review the privacy policies of any third party prior to disclosing information to that party.
II. COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION ABOUT YOU
1. Information you choose to provide
We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for one or more of our functions and activities, and in particular so that we can provide our services to you and our clients.
We may collect, store and use personal information you choose to provide, for example, when you complete a Pop-up, or when you request information or assistance from us online. The personal information you provide may identify you and your business individually, and may include items such as your name and email address, your physical address, phone number and information regarding your vehicle preferences. The information you provide is maintained by us or service providers acting on our behalf.
We will not collect sensitive information from you, including about your race, ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, or trade union memberships, unless it is reasonably necessary for one or more of our functions or activities and we first obtain your informed consent.
2. Information collected automatically
We may also use server log and web analysis tools to collect and analyze certain other information that does not identify you personally. This information may include your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, your Internet Service Provider (“ISP”) and your domain name. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer by the ISP through which you access the Internet; an ISP is a company that provides access to the Internet; and a domain name is the string of letters, numbers, and hyphens that is used to point to an IP address. We use this information for system administration, to monitor the use of our Pop-ups, and to track and measure impressions. While we may report aggregated information to clients, we do not link IP addresses or domain names with any personal information, which means that a visitor’s session will be logged on our servers but the visitor will always remain anonymous (unless you are providing information through a Pop-up).
In addition to server log analysis tools, we may collect information via a number of other technologies, including cookies, web beacons, clear GIFs and other means. You can remove certain cookies by following the directions in your Internet browser’s “help” file, but if you disable them, your ability to use some online features may be limited.
3. How we use your personal information
We use the personal information you provide via Pop-ups to contact you in relation to the promotional offer referred to in the Pop-up, which may include sending you redemption codes and details for how you can redeem offers, and providing your details to our clients so that you can redeem offers from them. If you have elected to join our mailing list, we may also use the information you have provided to send you, via email or post, our quarterly newsletter as well as other information impacting online customer relationships that we think you might find useful. We may also use the information you provide to enforce our terms of use, and to detect and protect against error, fraud and any other unauthorized or illegal activities. We may also use your personal information to contact you in response to any requests, complaints, or comments you may have about us or any Pop-ups.
If you are visiting Pop-ups from a country outside the United States, you acknowledge and agree that in submitting information via Pop-ups, you will transfer personal information about yourself to the United States, that the data protection laws of the United States may not be as comprehensive as those in your own country and that the transfer of this personal information occurs with your consent. Personal information collected via Pop-ups is stored and processed in the United States, under the laws of the United States.
4. Disclosure of your personal information to others
We do not collect or compile personal information solely for the purpose of distribution to unaffiliated third parties. Except as described below, we do not share personal information about you with any unaffiliated third parties.
If you send us an email or online request, complaint, or comment relating to one of our affiliates, we may forward your request, complaint, or comment to the appropriate affiliate.
In addition, we may disclose your personal information:
to a successor organization in the event that we are involved in a transaction such as a merger, stock purchase or sale, or sale of substantially all of our assets;
to our affiliates and to third party partners whom we engage to provide products and services on our behalf, including, but not limited to, support services, website services, and answering user questions about our services;
where we are required or authorized by law to do so, for instance to comply with valid legal process such as a search warrant, subpoena, or court order, to protect our rights and property, or to protect the safety or security of the public and our clients. We will disclose information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it;
to our clients and our clients’ third party vendors to support the clients’ products and services and conduct marketing campaigns on their own behalf.
5. Promotional Communications
When you submit personal information to us, you may be given the opportunity to join our mailing list. It may take us ten (10) days to process your request, but you will receive a prompt confirmation that we have received your communication.
Except as described herein and unless to fulfill the purposes of us collecting your personal information, we do not share personal information about you with unaffiliated third parties for their direct marketing purposes and will not do so in the future without first obtaining your express consent to disclosure of your personal information for that purpose.
6. Cross-border transfer of personal information
AutoHook is a company incorporated in, based in and which operates from, the USA, and as such, the personal information which we collect will be stored and processed in the USA, under the laws of the USA.
By giving us your personal information via Pop-ups, you expressly consent to the disclosure of your personal information by us for any purposes directly related to any promotional offers referred to in the Pop-up.

We reserve the right to deny access to your personally identifiable information: (a) when such denial of access is required by law, (b) when granting you access is reasonably likely to negatively impact other people’s privacy, (c) to protect our rights and property, and (d) when such requests are frivolous or made in bad faith.
8. User Acceptance of & Changes to Our Privacy Policy
By providing information to us online, including through Pop-ups, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you may choose not to provide information to us. We reserve the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. Modifications will be effective on the date that appears on the modified Privacy Policy. Each time you provide information to us online, including through Pop-ups, you should check the effective date of this Privacy Policy and review any changes made since the last time you viewed this Privacy Policy. You agree that by providing your information to us online, including through Pop-ups, after such modifications or amendments constitutes your acceptance of such modifications or amendments.

1. Protection of children’s online privacy
We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in an online environment. The Pop-ups are not designed for or directed at children under 13 years of age. It is AutoHook’s policy not to knowingly collect or maintain information about individuals under age 13.
2. How we protect your personal information
We follow generally accepted security practices and procedures to protect the personal information you provide from unauthorized access, use and disclosure, and we require that our authorized service providers implement and maintain such security practices and procedures as well. We take reasonable steps to securely destroy or de-identify all personal information where it is no longer necessary to retain the information for the purposes for which it was requested or as required by law.
Nevertheless, Internet transmissions are never completely private or secure. You understand that any messages or information you send online may be read or intercepted by others. 3. Retention of your personal information
The personally identifiable information that you provide will be stored and maintained by us for so long as we, in our sole discretion, believe is necessary or appropriate (a) to carry out the purpose(s) for which such information was collected, or (b) to comply with applicable laws, contracts, or other rules or regulations.

This section describes certain rights of California residents (“Consumers”) under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”). For information on how Consumers may contact AutoHook to exercise these rights, please see the section below entitled, “How to Submit a Request.”
Right to Know
A Consumer has the right to request that a business disclose what personal information it collects, uses, discloses or sells. Specifically, a Consumer may request that a business that collects personal information about the Consumer disclose to the Consumer the following:
The categories of personal information it has collected about that Consumer.
The categories of sources from which the personal information is collected.
The business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling personal information.
The categories of third parties with whom the business shares personal information.
The specific pieces of personal information it has collected about that Consumer.
Right to Request Deletion
A Consumer has the right to request that a business delete any personal information about the Consumer which the business has collected from the Consumer. If it is necessary for AutoHook to maintain the personal information for certain purposes, AutoHook is not required to comply with your deletion request. If we determine that we will not delete your personal information when you request us to do so, we will inform you and tell you why we are not deleting it.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale of Personal Information
A Consumer has the right to direct a business that sells personal information about the Consumer to third parties not to sell the Consumer’s personal information. AutoHook does not sell Consumers’ personal information.
No Discrimination
A Consumer has the right not to be discriminated against because the Consumer exercised any of the Consumer’s rights under the CCPA. AutoHook does not discriminate against any Consumer for exercising any of its rights under the CCPA.
2. How to Submit a Request
To exercise the rights described above, you must submit a verifiable Consumer request to us by contacting AutoHook through one of the following methods:

You may submit a request as frequently as you would like, but we are not required to respond to requests to provide personal information to you more than twice in any 12-month period.
To submit a verifiable Consumer request, you will be asked to provide certain information to help us verify your identity. The information we ask you to provide to initiate a request may differ depending upon the type of request, the type, sensitivity and value of the personal information that is the subject of the request, and the risk of harm to you that may occur as a result of unauthorized access or deletion, among other factors. In certain circumstances, we may also require you to provide a written declaration that you are who you say you are.
If we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request, we will not be able to comply with your request. We will inform you if we cannot verify your identity or authority. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable Consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.
3. How we collect, use and share personal information of Consumers
AutoHook may have collected the following categories of personal information about Consumers in the twelve (12) months prior to the effective date of this Privacy Policy:
Name, postal address, unique personal identifier, phone number, email address, or other similar identifiers.
Commercial information, including records of personal property, products purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.
AutoHook may collect the personal information described above from the following categories of sources:
From data aggregators who provide us with information about individuals.
From automotive manufacturers and dealers.
AutoHook collects the personal information described above for a variety of business purposes. AutoHook may use the personal information to:
Provide our products and services to automotive manufacturers and dealers;
Improve, upgrade, or enhance our products and services;
Detect security incidents, protecting against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, and prosecuting those responsible for that activity;
For research and analysis purposes.
4. Sale of personal information
AutoHook has not sold personal information about Consumers in the twelve (12) months prior to the effective date of this Privacy Policy.
5. Personal Information of Minors
AutoHook’s services are not designed for or directed at children under 16 years of age. It is AutoHook’s policy not to knowingly collect or maintain information about individuals under age 16. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from an individual under 16 years of age without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
